Originally from the Bay Area in Northern California, Derek comes with more than 12 years of hospitality experience. He was previously with Marriott International serving in an assortment of hotel operation roles. He’s especially excelled in handling administration with event & wedding planning at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua. He has called Maui home since 2015 and brings his talents in guest service culture to DeSilva DMC providing administrative support. Derek enjoys travel, food and watching / playing sports.
